Transporting seniors and people with reduced mobility requires special attention and preparation. We share our experience on what to keep in mind.
Choosing the right vehicle
Not every bus is suitable for transporting people with reduced mobility. The height of the boarding steps, the width of the aisle and the availability of seats at the front of the car are important.
Stop planning
On longer routes, more frequent stops should be considered. We recommend stopping every 60-90 minutes with enough time to get off and on comfortably.
Communication with the carrier
Always inform the carrier of specific passenger needs. This allows us to customize the vehicle, route and schedule.
Our experience
At Diamond Tour, we have extensive experience in transporting seniors and organized groups. Our drivers are trained in assisting with embarkation and disembarkation and always approach passengers with patience and respect.
