Include large suitcases, cabin bags and any pushchair in the booking. Give the dimensions of sports equipment too. This makes it possible to choose a vehicle for the group’s actual needs rather than seat numbers alone.
Work backwards from your airport arrival
Start with when you need to reach the airport and your airline’s requirements. Then allow for the drive, individual pick-ups and a buffer. Agree the collection order in advance if there are several addresses.
Include the return flight in the plan
Send the return date, flight number, a passenger’s phone number and destination addresses. Update any changes before travelling. One contact person makes arrangements easier for the whole group.
