Consider more than kilometres
A short distance does not always mean an easy journey. Check the walk from the drop-off point to the destination and opportunities for a break. One main visit can offer a calmer day than repeatedly boarding and leaving the vehicle.
Discuss mobility needs early
Tell us at the enquiry stage if someone needs more time to board, uses a mobility aid or has other requirements. Suitability needs to be assessed for the chosen vehicle and route. Mention any additional equipment as well.
Keep information straightforward
Give participants the time, meeting point and the organiser’s phone number. Leave room for refreshments and rest in the itinerary. An agreed return stop also makes collection by family members easier.
