When planning group transport, you are often faced with a choice: bus or train? Both options have their advantages and disadvantages. Let's take a look at when it's better to choose which option.
When to choose the bus
The bus is the ideal choice when you need door-to-door transport. You don't have to deal with transfers to and from the station. The bus will pick you up exactly where you need to go and take you exactly where you are going.
The flexibility of the route is also an advantage - you can plan stops as you need them, stopping for refreshments or at points of interest along the way.
When to choose a train
The train has an advantage on long routes where speed is important. On the Prague-Brno or Prague-Ostrava routes, the train can be faster than the bus, especially if you are going without stops.
Our tip
For groups of more than 15 people, the bus is almost always more cost-effective and logistically advantageous. You save on tickets and get the comfort of a private transport space.
